The seasoned editor, with over a decade of shaping cultural stories for top magazines and brands, joins RADII.
Hong Kong SAR, China, March 11, 2025 – RADII, a pioneering multi-brand media platform dedicated to showcasing the vibrant culture of Asia and beyond, is delighted to announce Alex Lendrum, formerly of HYPEBEAST, GOAT Group, and CLOT, as its new Managing Editor. This strategic move underscores RADII‘s commitment to delivering high-quality content that amplifies diverse voices and perspectives across the region.
RADII is distinguished by its creative and innovative storytelling, having received numerous accolades in international film festivals and digital media awards for its coverage and documentary series. Notable projects include Way of the Warrior, which explores the Chinese MMA scene, and a two-part documentary titled Blending Tech and Tradition in Chinese Digital Art, which highlights the impact of digital technology on art creation. Its Goldthread branded City Bites series, a culinary exploration of Asian cities, has also gained recognition for its engaging storytelling. By bringing on media pioneer Alex Lendrum, RADII aims to further enrich its offerings and enhance its role as a leading voice in showcasing contemporary Asian culture.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Lendrum brings a unique blend of cultural insight and a global perspective, having worked in Hong Kong and Los Angeles as an editor, media director, and brand manager. His career spans roles at prominent brands such as HYPEBEAST, where he managed the launch of its quarterly printed magazine; GOAT Group, as Editor-in-Chief of its GREATEST magazine; and working alongside streetwear icon Edison Chen as his Marketing Director for CLOT. Lendrum’s experience in managing diverse content projects and collaborations will enhance RADII’s editorial direction and global reach. His deep understanding of youth culture, fostered through his work with influential brands, aligns well with RADII‘s mission to explore the dynamic subcultures of Asia.
Founded in 2017, RADII Media collaborates with hundreds of contributors worldwide to produce multimedia content, articles, and events that amplify the voices of young, globally-minded thinkers. Through a licensing agreement in 2023, RADII joined forces with Goldthread, originally launched under the banner of the South China Morning Post.
