China released data last week from a once-a-decade #PopulationCensus conducted late last year that shows population growth has slowed to a crawl. Meanwhile, the proportion of senior citizens in China has expanded, the cohort of working-age people is contracting, and births are down.
We spoke with young people in downtown Shanghai about their takes on having children and aging population , why or why not they choose to have children, and what they think about the future of an aging society.
In RADII Street Scope, we hit the streets of China to give young people the chance to tell us what they think in their own words.
