Dan Shapiro is a writer, editor, musician and producer currently based in Los Angeles. A veteran of the Shanghai rock scene, Dan fronted The Fever Machine and The Rogue Transmission, bands that Chinese fans and festival audiences always gave the 牛逼 seal of approval. He also worked as part of the Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation team, helping to promote MMA fights around China in association with the Chinese Ministry of Sport.
