Jackson Wang has had a big year.
With some excellently catchy singles in the bag for 2020, including his link-up with Galantis, “Pretty Please,” and “100 Ways,” as well as the launch of Team Wang’s long-awaited first fashion collection.
He’s clearly aiming to finish the year on a high note with this well-timed collaboration with Singaporean Mandopop singer JJ Lin.
The song is a soaring love ballad, with the teaser for the music video drenched in rain, spotlighted by lines like, “without you I fall apart,” “love comes with loneliness,” and “it’s an incurable pain.” Needless to say that the track is heart-rending in all the right places.
The single release also follows quick on the heels of the release of “Last Piece” from GOT7, the Kpop band that he is a part of.
JJ Lin is one of the biggest Mandopop singers of all time, breaking out with his debut album Music Voyager in 2003 and winning three Golden Melody Awards throughout his illustrious career. He also recently released a remix with Steve Aoki:
