Jackson Wang and Kpop legend RAIN dropped new single “MAGNETIC” on March 3.
Team Wang and Kpop stans alike had been highly anticipating the track after a 26-second clip that RAIN teased on his Instagram page a couple of weeks earlier. Now, we have a full music video to go with the track (scroll down to watch).
The cool R&B track is featured on RAIN’s new record Pieces by RAIN, with Wang one of a number of artists that the Kpop pioneer has collaborated with on the release — singer Chung Ha and rapper Keita (of Kpop group Ciipher) both feature too.

The collab comes after Jackson announced that his label Team Wang has signed a deal to collaborate with Sublime Artist Agency, which also manages RAIN. The GOT7 member, whose exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment ended on January 19, shared the news on Twitter, telling his fans “[we] will try our best to create unique and special things [in] 2021 … LET’S MAKE HISTORY.”

Jackson had a successful 2020, which saw him drop catchy singles like “Pretty Please” and “100 Ways,” collab with Singaporean Mandopop singer JJ Lin for “Should’ve Let Go,” and launch Team Wang’s highly anticipated first fashion collection.
It looks like he has brought that momentum with him into 2021 — not just with this single, but also with rumored deals to appear on both the new season of Street Dance of China and a new-look Rap of China.
