Today in celebrity sightings: Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife, Grammy-winning R&B singer Ciara, have spent the last few days in China. Tracking the pair on social media, it looks like they landed in Beijing a few days ago, for a PR event in which Wilson attempts to set an all-time passing record on the Great Wall of China.

Better than Tom Brady?

After that, they went to Shanghai, where Wilson worked with a group of aspiring young Chinese football players at an event sponsored by Alibaba subsidiary Alisports.

And today, back in the capital, Ciara and Wilson seem to be doing some last-minute shopping, soaking in hutong vibes before shuttling back to the other side of the Pacific.

After a bit of digging, we discovered that this visit was a little cultural exchange affair coordinated by Nike. You can read the full story here if you’re so inclined.
