Zhao Lusi is an actress and singer hailing from Chengdu, Sichuan province. Born in 1998, Zhao, also known simply as Rosy, made her acting debut with a minor role in the award-winning Chinese film City of Rock in 2017. In 2018, Zhao held supporting roles in the time travel web drama Cinderella Chef and the historical romance series Untouchable Lovers, in addition to her first lead role in Oh! My Emperor. In 2019, Zhao starred in three hit TV series and the iQiyi film Autumn Fairy Tale. The following year she was awarded ‘Breakthrough Actress of the Year’ at the 2020 Baidu Entertainment Awards for her performances in The Romance of Tiger and Rose, Oh! My Emperor, and Love of Thousand Years. She also won accolades at the Tencent Video TV and Movie Awards, The Actors of China Awards, and the Hengdian Film Festival of China that year.
