In North America, National Mental Health Awareness Month is celebrated annually in May to educate the public on mental health well-being. So we asked ourselves: how is mental health being addressed and prioritized in China?
It turns out, May 25th is National University Student Mental Health Day, where Chinese university host various activities to celebrate self-love and self-care. The date was chosen because “525” is phonetically similar to the sentence “I love me” in Chinese.
