Have you ever sat on the relaxing ferry ride between Hong Kong Island and Kownloon and stared at a Hong Kong Star Ferry boatman thinking, “My goodness, that’s a fit”? Well, the folks at Yeti Out sure did. For decades, the crew behind the iconic 天星小輪 (Star Ferry) have been rocking crisp, functional navy uniforms while crossing Victoria Harbour. Now, that everyday utilitarian drip is getting the roadman treatment.

Enter ‘NO CODES,’ Yeti Out’s latest eight-piece capsule collection. Co-founder Arthur Bray, who practically commutes on the Star Ferry across Kowloon daily, drew inspiration from this staple of Hong Kong life to create a tracksuit that chants “HK heritage” without being aggressively loud about it.

True to Yeti Out‘s borderless, club-culture roots, ‘NO CODES’ is exactly what it sounds like. It consists of zip-up jackets with removable sleeves, tracksuit bottoms that conveniently convert to shorts (perfect for the city’s overwhelming humidity), and reflective details. It’s a fit built for a sweaty 3AM dancefloor, a grueling restaurant shift, or whatever afterhours you end up at after the main event.

Ahead of the release, Yeti Out slapped the collection on Parisian artist Oko Ebombo for a sweltering summer shoot, cementing the global vision of this local homage. The capsule initially dropped exclusively at Hong Kong’s J-01 concept store before going global on August 6. So, if you want to look like you’re ready to dock a ferry and drop a beat simultaneously, you know where to look.
