This week’s photo takeover is “RIP Laoximen” — a collection of photos by Shanghai street photographer Qian Yang, capturing life in the rapidly-disappearing neighborhood.

The woman’s hair curlers caught my eye, so I stopped and took several shots. In the middle of it, the dog stood up to kiss the woman. I felt really lucky to catch that moment.
