Needles are scary stuff for a lot of people. If you’re the type to get squeamish or look away while you’re getting blood drawn, the idea of getting acupuncture probably makes your skin crawl.

But can it really be that bad? Nowadays, thousands and thousands of people practice acupuncture all over the world, in small clinics and major hospitals. We sent Kadallah down to Shanghai Jingao Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine to get his first-ever acupuncture, and tell us all about the experience.
