OK, the Harajuku Barbie‘s Chinese tattoo doesn’t look that bad, and the grammar is fine: 上帝与你常在 — God is always with you. Not a tattoo we could see a Chinese person getting, but OK.
Nicki got this ink at 16 years old, and later came to regret it: “Way too young. You have no idea what you want to put on your body at the age of 16… You need to wait until at least 21 and decide.”
Minaj, now 35, has made many good decisions since, including this verse on a 2017 Yo Gotti track in which she rhymes the word “China” with itself four or five times (semi-NSFW):
