Iconic Shoe Brand Drops Must-have Bruce Lee-inspired Sneakers

A legendary brand of the Shaolin scene has dropped a new sneaker collection immortalizing one of kung fu’s chosen sons

Like a kick straight to the dome, one of China’s most iconic footwear brands, Feiyue, has us floored with their new Bruce Lee-inspired shoes.

The Bruce Lee x Feiyue Collection comprises five unique — and unquestionably stylish — sneakers, each a reimagination of the brand’s iconic martial arts shoes, the Fe Lo 1920 and the Fe Mid 1920. Dubbed the Bruce Lee 1920 Fe Lo, the shoes honor history’s most celebrated martial artist and encourage fans to carry his legacy forward, according to a Twitter post from the brand.

The collection boasts three low-top sneakers and two mid-tops and has a color scheme that leans heavily on red, yellow, and black.

“This Feiyue x Bruce Lee collaboration pays tribute to the well-rounded life of Bruce Lee. Taking inspiration from his powerful, deeply philosophical life lessons this capsule portrays a sense of simplicity and directness in the design details. The many strengths of Bruce Lee are also on display, celebrated through showcasing his elite martial arts ability, his composure, patience, and mental fortitude,” reads a product description for the shoes on Feiyue’s website.

Of the collection’s various kicks, we’re particularly fond of the Bruce Lee 1920 Fe Lo in yellow and black. The canvas-upper sneakers are adorned with tasteful details inspired by Lee, such as the martial artist’s ‘core symbol’ (the yin and yang symbol surrounded by arrows) on the tongue label and his Chinese name (李小龍, Li Xiaolong) featured on an embroidered patch.

The Bruce Lee 1920 Fe Mid in black also caught our eyes. It is notable for its collage of black-and-white photos profiling Lee in all his ass-kicking glory.

The shoes from the Bruce Lee x Feiyue Collection range in price from 40-45 USD on the American version of Feiyue’s online store.

It seems natural to us that, of all the shoe brands in China, Feiyue has chosen to immortalize the ‘Little Dragon’ with his own line of kicks. After all, the brand’s name is regularly uttered in the same breath as the world-famous Shaolin Temple and its warrior monks.

Heck, some have even hailed the brand’s footwear as the go-to shoes for Shaolin monks.
