Big week for Jackson Wang.
Just days after the teaser trailer for Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings had fans of the Hong Kong heartthrob convinced that he was featuring on the soundtrack, he’s taken to The Late Late Show with James Corden to perform new single “LMLY” (that’s an acronym for “Leave Me Loving You,” not “Let Me Love You,” just FYI).
The GOT7 performer delivered the smooth, summery song — which is out now — while hanging on a set decorated to echo the official music video for “LMLY” (which you can watch below). The backdrop featured a few HK touches and a couple locked in conversation, seemingly obliviously to the fact that one of Asia’s hottest pop stars was in their midst.
This isn’t Jackson’s first appearance on James’ show. Back in 2019, Wang taught Corden some Mandarin and the pair shared a bit of hotpot:
