The art coming from Nini Sum and the IdleBeats studio that she co-founded has long been among our favorite illustration work. From creative takes on the Chinese zodiac to snapshots of Shanghai life and simply some of the best gig posters, screen prints and murals going, Sum and IdleBeats have been producing incredible work for well over a decade. Now, you can wear some of that art, thanks to a collaboration with adidas.
Sum has been tapped by the sports brand to create designs for a “Women in Power” line, featuring T-shirts, training tights, shoes and more. We’re particularly taken by the spring-appropriate range’s floral hoodie and an eye-catching bomber jacket.
Sum shared a few thoughts on the collection via her Instagram, writing:
“I wanted the collection to celebrate the beauty and power of women, and encourage more women including myself to become more powerful — body and spiritual wise, also inner self and society wise.”
The Nini Sum Women in Power line for adidas is available in stores worldwide and online now.
