Get ready to mosh!… and chill! The highly anticipated TaiChill City Festival (台秋祭) is making a massive comeback for its 5th anniversary, transforming Taiwan‘s Taichung Railway Cultural Park into a hub of music, street culture, and Gen Z energy on July 18-19, 2026.

This year’s lineup is the most ambitious yet, featuring a staggering 91 artist groups—including 16 international acts spanning Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Luxembourg. Leading the charge are local legends like punk rock favorites PAPUN BAND, alt-rockers KST, and the fierce Taiwanese heavy metal titans Flesh Juicer (血肉果汁機). Flesh Juicer and KST will be taking the main stage as the highly-anticipated closing acts, guaranteeing a high-octane finale that will shake Taichung Station.

For its 5th anniversary, the festival leans into its “Street Festival” theme, breaking the mold of traditional music events. Aside from the music, attendees can expect an eclectic mix of youth culture, including a street football tournament, spinning top battles, and live podcast recordings bridging the local hip-hop scene.

Whether you’re into headbanging to Flesh Juicer, discovering fresh international indie-pop acts, or just soaking up the street culture vibes, TaiChill City 2026 is shaping up to be the ultimate summer destination for any headbanger.
