Fan Bingbing has been conspicuously quiet in public following the “yin-yang contracts” scandal at the start of this month, so it’ll be interesting to see how much publicity work she puts in for this star-studded fantasy sequel, which also features Kris Wu and TFBoys.
Guo Jingming, who helmed the first L.O.R.D film in 2016 and wrote the novels that it was based on, is back in the director’s chair after instalment number one raked in an estimated 58 million USD at the box office. Given all the celebs involved, we expect part two to surpass that figure.
