Open your timezone-translating app of choice and mark this down: on Friday, May 10 from 2-10pm, the Shanghai arm of web radio station NTS has a killer, eight-hour, pirate-style broadcast up their sleeves. The event, Crew 2 Crew, is supported by Adidas and features a truly unwieldy, incredible lineup of acts & crews from China and Hong Kong, including Genome 6.66 Mbp, Cosign, YoungQueenz, Eating Music, and Scintii. “These crews represent the collective pulse of Shanghai, shaping the underground music scene and influencing culture and fashion,” say the organizers, who are also behind regular club night China Social Club.
If you’re in Shanghai, you can catch the 8-hour party for free — details here. Otherwise, recordings of this epic, best-of-Shanghai’s-best afternoon rave will be available at nts.live/2 and at the NTS Shanghai archive for future listening pleasure.
