We’ve been a bit obsessed with Bohan Phoenix recently. And for good reason — the quintessential bi-cultural, Chinese-American rapper has been tearing through the game at unprecedented speeds, and doing what no one else is doing.
Exhibit A: this badass new interactive music video.
OVERSEAS is the title track from Bohan’s latest EP. The music video is really less of a video and more of an interactive multimedia experience. Shot in one take from four different angles, you can alternate between different shots to get the full story. Bohan told us about the experience:
“My guys at 18UPPERCUT shot the video from multiple angles and created this interactive experience to break down the fourth wall. It’s my way of letting the viewer into my world and breaking down barriers. No matter where you’re from or where you’re at, we takin’ you OVERSEAS baby.”
